South Coast Specialty Surgery Center has taken great care to welcome patients into a safe and secure environment. As part of its COVID-19 infection prevention measures, South Coast Specialty has established an Infection Control Program that is center-wide, involving the Surgery Center’s employees and its physicians. Consideration was given to maintain compliance with local County, State and Federal guidelines created by the U.S. Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and Orange County Health Care Agency. South Coast Specialty Surgery Center has chosen to adopt and integrate these guidelines so that we may safely continue to provide non-acute surgical care to our beloved patients and our local community, enabling local hospitals to focus on treating patients with COVID-19.

The continuously developing COVID-19 Prevention Program is part of this Surgery Center’s commitment to provide high quality healthcare. Through the Prevention Program, the Surgery Center systematically involves each team member into the process of maintaining a safe environment for our patients and their families, visitors, team members and other healthcare providers.

Our Center follows strict COVID-19 safety protocols so that our patients can rest assured knowing staff members are committed to their safety. South Coast Specialty has installed protective safety barriers, placed markers six feet apart to support social distancing, and equipped staff with Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as masks, gloves and hand sanitizer stations, to help reduce the spread of COVID-19.

Upon arrival for a consultation, each patient receives a mask and hand sanitizer, and staff checks their temperature before providing any care or treatment. South Coast Specialty also offers convenient telemedicine appointments to serve patients from the comfort of their home.

The clinic is here to serve and care for patients seeking non-acute surgical care away from patients diagnosed with COVID-19. With the help and cooperation of patients, South Coast Specialty will achieve this goal without compromising safety. Patients are encouraged to contact the clinic at (800) 578-8521 or email info@southcoastspecialtycenter.com with any questions or concerns they may have.
